Michigan Attorney General
The Attorney General is the state’s top lawyer and law enforcement official, protecting and serving the people and interests of Michigan through a broad range of duties. The Attorney Gerneral’s responsibilities include safeguarding the public from violent criminals, helping victims of crime, leading the fight against human trafficking and opiod abuse, preserving Michigan’s spectacular natural resources, protecting consumers and addressing illegal business practices.
Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office
The Prosecuting Attorney is the chief law enforcement officer of the County and is charged with the duty to see that the laws are faithfully executed and enforced to maintain the rule of law. An elected official with a four-year term of office, the Prosecuting Attorney is independent of the Michigan Attorney General. The Prosecuting Attorney's office performs a wide array of legal duties.
Macomb County’s Prosecutor has several special units including CONSUMER PROTECTION and INTERNET and IDENTITY THEFT.

The Resolution Center
The Resolution Center is dedicated to enhancing the peaceful resolution of all forms of disputes by providing and promoting the use of appropriate alternative dispute resolution and collaborative problem solving process that emphasize cooperation, collaboration and communication. The Center has been providing facilitative mediation services and training to businesses, residents and the schools since 1994.

The William Booth Legal Aid Clinic addresses the legal needs of the population who live at or below the national poverty level guidelines in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties. The clinic exists to address legal problems and provide high quality legal services at no cost to those in need. The clinic services individuals, families, U.S. Military Veterans, in need and educates clients with regard to their legal rights and obligations while seeking to eliminate legal problems as obstacles that may prevent them from reaching their full potential.

Michigan Legal Help is for people who are handling their legal problems without a lawyer. The website can help you learn about your legal problems and get ready for court. There are forms and Do-It Yourself guides at no cost. The site does not give legal advice and it is NOT a substitute for having a lawyer.
