Title:               Director of Lawyer Referral Programs

Pay Range:      $11.00 - $13.00 per hour.  Part Time (20 hours per week).

Reports to:      Executive Personnel

 

Summary:

Our members mean everything to us.  They are the reason the Association exists and our professional staff are ready to help them excel.  Our Lawyer Referral Service and Metro Detroit Find A Lawyer program are important client development tools for our members.  We are looking for an energetic, articulate and tech savvy employee that can help build and maintain these uniquely branded programs that benefit our members and the public. 

 

 

Essential Functions:

 

Lawyer Referral Service:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing programs for Lawyer Referral Service and Metro Detroit Find A Lawyer.
  • Develop and maintain professional and helpful relations with attorney members.
  • Receive and process Lawyer Referral Service contacts and reports.
  • Input and maintain lawyer referral data.
  • Analyze data and provide reports.

 General Services:

  • Receive callers, determine nature of business and direct to proper destination.
  • Receive visitors, determine nature of business, assist visitors achieve task or direct to proper destination.
  • Maintain professional appearance of MCBA office and property.
  • Process mail, enter membership data.
  • Perform other such duties as assigned by executive staff.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Knowledge and experience with WORD, EXCEL, databases and Internet research.
  • Experience with professional business communication, including style and format of letters, memoranda and reports.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Must be able to establish priorities, work independently and process objectives. 
  • Ability to take direction with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to learn new technologies

Credentials and Experience

  • Associates – Undergraduate degree
  • Office related experience

Title:               Membership and Event Coordinator

Pay Range:      $10.00 - $13.00 per hour.  Part Time (20 hours per week).

Reports to:      Executive Personnel

 

Summary: 

Our members mean everything to us.  They are the reason the Association exists and our professional staff are ready to help them excel.  We are looking for an energetic, fun loving

part time employee to help executive staff and volunteers grow the membership of the Macomb County Bar Association and their participation in the events, services, and benefits that we assemble for them.  If you are great communicator, are personable, give attention to details and are technological agile, you may be what we are looking for.

 

Essential Functions

Member Service

  • Planning and implementing fun events using social media platforms and other communication tools to engage members. 
  • Maintain and analyze membership data.
  • Assist Executive personnel build membership benefits.
  • Assist Executive personnel deliver quality services to members.

Reception Service

  • Receive callers, determine nature of business and direct to proper destination.
  • Receive visitors, determine nature of business, assist visitor achieve task or direct to proper destination. 
  • Receive and process Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) calls.
  • Manage member conference rooms, computer workstation and lobby. 

General Services

  • Maintain professional appearance of MCBA office and property
  • Process mail, enter member data
  • Perform other such duties as assigned by executive staff

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities   

  • Knowledge and experience with WORD, EXCEL, Facebook, LinkedIn, databases, Internet research and other social media. 
  • Knowledge of professional business communication, including style and format of letters, memoranda and reports.

Credentials
